Capitol Day 2026

California Capitol Day 2026

Organized by Family Protection Ministries in partnership with CHEA of California, the goal of Capitol Day is to provide information about private home education to our California state legislators and their staff in a friendly, professional manner. This also allows legislators and their staff the opportunity to visit with real homeschool families.

After training sessions in the morning, you will have the opportunity to break into small groups so we can visit each of the 120 legislators’ Capitol offices, providing each office with an information packet about private homeschooling. We will then have lunch and hear from some inspirational speakers on the Capitol steps.

Apply online today to participate. Applicants that are approved will receive a link to the registration page. Event registration must be completed by January 7, 2026.

CHAP's Homeschool Capitol Day combines civics lessons, community-building, and legislative activism into one big family-friendly event. CHAP has organized 30-minute tours throughout the day along with vibrant speakers and fun activities! Pennsylvania homeschool families, come hang out to the Harrisburg Capitol Building for a day of connection and education.

The CAPE-NM homeschool convention will be marking its 30th anniversary by encouraging, supporting, and informing homeschoolers of New Mexico.
