Find encouragement and connection on the local level at this Homeschool Iowa Local Connect half-day event. You'll choose from breakout sessions like Homeschooling 101 and Homeschooling High School to help you find answers for targeted questions. Opportunities are also provided to allow you to meet and interact with other local homeschoolers and to learn about local support options and opportunities.
Women's Encouragement Day is a day of refreshing where local homeschool moms gather to worship, fellowship, grow in your faith, and be encouraged to finish your homeschool year strong. You will enjoy a scrumptious brunch and an afternoon tea as we gather around the table to hear from families who have homeschooled for two or more generations. We will glean wisdom from God’s word through speaker sessions, music that will lift our spirits and enjoy a delicious lunch while fellowshipping with other homeschool moms. All homeschool moms (or those considering homeschooling) are welcome!

Each year Women’s Encouragement Day offers several sessions full of worship and the word brought to you by hand-picked worship leaders and speakers. Each session is introduced by our energetic emcee and ladies are blessed with door prizes and chocolate. Of course, we always have a delicious menu that varies from year to year; from breakfast and lunch to brunch and tea. Savor the beauty of specially chosen decorations just for you and remember how God has been faithful in your life. This is your day, and we want you to enjoy it to the full.
