Meet and make connections.\nCatered\, hot\, lunch (included in registration.)\n\nHomeschool Louisiana would like to announce that our Keynote Speaker for the 2026 Louisiana Homeschool Conference is Christy-Faith! \nChristy-Faith\, a social media powerhouse with over 350k followers and millions of video views\, motivates countless moms to take the homeschooling leap\, remain steadfast\, and revitalize their purpose. She has advised countless kids and families. Her heart is to help parents build homeschools their kids will thank them for later. She is host of The Christy-Faith Show podcast\, founder of Thrive Homeschool Community\, and author of Homeschool Rising. \n\n\nConference Schedule\nFriday\, March 27th:\n5:00 pm – Doors open to Vendor Hall\n6:00-7:00 pm – General Session\n7:30 pm – Doors Close \nSaturday\, March 28th:\n8:15 am – Registration\n8:45 am – Announcements & General Session\n10:00 am – Vendor Time\n11:00-11:45 am – Workshops\n12:00-12:30 pm – Lunch\n12:30-1:00 pm – Vendor Time\n1:00-1:45 pm – Workshops\n1:45-2:45 pm – Vendor Time\n2:45-3:30 pm – General Session\n3:30 pm – Pick up youth from the Youth Program 3:45-4:00pm – Closing Session and Door Prizes \n\nVendor Hall\n\nThe Vendor Hall will be open on Friday from 5:00pm until 7:30pm and during the Conference on Saturday. DESCRIPTION:Bring your family and learn about the legislative process\, meet other like-minded families\, and have fun in the process. This will be an awesome opportunity to meet your state representatives so they can understand the needs of homeschooling families and how we are raising the next generation of leaders in Louisiana. Highlights of the day include: \n\nSymposium – Topics include: Legislative Training\, Education in Louisiana\, and Advocacy Training\nCapitol Tour – Discover the history of our beautiful capitol\, visit the observation deck and grab a souvenir at the “Shop at the Top”\nMeet Legislators – Get to know your legislators. Homeschool Families make up 5% of the school age population in LA – your legislators need to know you and hear your opinion on prospective bills that affect our families.\nOld State Capitol Tour – The Old State Capitol is open until 4pm and free to the public. This historic building has been restored to her former beauty and is a must see while you are in Baton Rouge. The self guided tour takes about 30 minutes – be sure to get some pictures on the front lawn on the steps.\nKeynote Speaker – Zan Tyler\, inspirational speaker\, author\, podcaster\, and longtime advocate for homeschool freedom.
